The routes differ from warehouse to warehouse, warehouse to store, store to store and store to either business or home delivery?

I would think it sucks but that's just my opinion
road_runner Thanks this. -
Do you like moving your own furniture?
RajinCajin, road_runner, truckguy391 and 6 others Thank this. -
LMAO! There's your answer OP! ^^^^^^^^
You better make a solid hourly rate and like to risk hurting yourself constantly while dealing with people who barely have a pulse.
Everywhere I've picked it up or delivered it the people on both ends have the work ethic of a turd so I wind up doing most of the work if I want to get out of there that day.
YMMV.....road_runner, Gearjammin' Penguin, homeskillet and 1 other person Thank this. -
I wouldn’t want any parts of delivering furniture. God only knows what stupidity the buyer might demand.
EuropeanTrucker and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
If you're delivering to retail stores it's relatively easy. Just bring it to the back of the trailer.
-
That certainly would be. Going from the store to the buyer’s house though is quite another story. It’s usually contractors who do that and they drive barely roadworthy 6-wheelers, much like the cartage companies Saia and New Penn use to take their freight to the eastern shore here in MD.McUzi Thanks this.

Actually yes I do... loading and unloading trucks is what I'm the best at and I've been doing it on and off since I was 18yrs of age
-
When are you going to get your cdl
-
I have to get myself into a position mentally and I'm going to get delivery driver experience before I get my cdl...
