Has Volvo improved injector/cups on newer models?

    I'm happy with my 2012 D13 but I am considering upgrading in the next year or so.
    Has Volvo improved the "injector/cup issue" on newer models? If so, what are the changes?

    There never been injector cup issue, back in 08 yes there is a bulletin how to fix that issue, it was the dealers didn't know how to install and clean the office were the cups sit into the head. Didn't torque down the bolts properly and put in new hardware. Dealer didn't use red Loctite to keep the bolts from backing off.
    The new Volvo engines are direct injection big difference.
