That post was from 2013....when truckstops still had kitchens.
-
Actually Lyle, most of the Flying J's still do have sinks. They just are covered up with other stuff or are out of order half the time.Rocks Thanks this.

Yes you can... I am not talking about a kitchen... I am referring to the coffee area. They all have a big sink.Last edited: Nov 8, 2020

All truck stops, FJ, Pilot, TA, Loves and many others have a coffee area and a big sink where they wash the coffee jar, etc...Last edited: Nov 8, 2020
tommymonza Thanks this. -
You are assuming that they actually wash the coffee urn at some point, rather than just keep refilling it and watching the tar build up!
-
Sinks are one thing....an actual kitchen sink is another.
I was referring to the loss of actual sit down restaurants. -
Thats cheap, they should charge at least $5.00 for that. That might cover the cost of having to rooter out the sewer system.

Berkshire-Hathaway Inc. owns 38 percent of PFJ.

Actually, I'm thinking they own most of it by now
I think it was like a 2 year deal where after the first 1 or 2 years, they owned a majority stake.
But that's what I remember.
Memory isn't what it used to be
