An by the way i wanted to ask. How did they expect ya to get up to coke in wright city without goin up 47. Yea it's got curves but if a person drives with some sense an takes the curves under the limit the load will be fine. I always run those curves 5 to 10 under the limit myself.

Ya know we thought about that before. Wondered if we would do better here miles wise if we lived closer to st.louis or union area. What's uuuuuppp?

Climate dont seem as team friendly in recent weeks. Y'all were running out to Phoenix and Sparks with regularity. I haven't heard you mention Sparks in awhile. It just seems like y'all go to Connecticut only lately.

Man.....that message got ignored. I had to get the truck looked at so that's why I went that way. They always suggest running MO-5 from 44, then jump on US-54 to 70. I dont know if they know but there are parts of 54 that can flip a load if a driver isn't careful. I have taken 47 multiple times to Coke from Waco. If I know I'm dropping the trailer, which is almost certain, why not get it checked out? Another time I did that run, I had hooked to a trailer at Riviana that had a leaky hub seal. I went to Coke and loaded it. It was enough oil to get to Union so I had it fixed there. It was the most sensible thing to do in my estimation. They suggest fuel stops and routes, and most of the time I'll roll with them, but there are times where adjustments are needed, and I am not afraid to call audibles.

Its hard to say, especially since we run in and out of STL. What hurts y'all is the average length of haul. If they could run yall 1000 miles daily, it would be good for yall. Maybe more coast to coast, or trips that are 1200 or better would be perfect, but when the majority of the runs are all points east of Denver, that can be tough at times. The biggest ones are those Monte Vista to Pageland runs, and solos often run those.

They still go to sparks , just not as frequently from what i understand. I was told those pet food loads don't pay very well. But we were also gettin some natures bakery loads out there too. Ya would think they'd cultivate more stuff like that if they can get a decent rate. What drives ya nuts tho is they're trying to jump through hoops to earn an keep fricks meats freight out of Washington mo and here we sit in Springfield mo with one of those outta the yard this morning. A whopping 175 mile run an been here since 04:30. Collecting detention now an not even half empty.

Yea an we rarely run loads all the way thru like that cuz they're always scheduled so a solo can do it an they never wanna try to reschedule so a team can get it there an deliver sooner.

Yea it would be nice to say get a sparks or a phoenix an then say reload something that ran all the way to the east coast an then back to st Louis. The wife gets bored with it but I'd be happy to just keep banging edwardsville to palmyra an back. Just keep turning it back to back. As long as the loads are ready ya can rack up the miles quick at 1600 mile a round.

Fricks loads arent worth it unless you drop off in the wee hours of the night. Those loads take forever to count
