After one week of working at K+B I asked for a different dispatcher, they refused so I jumped to another company. They then deposited $400 in my checking account on payday then promptly withdrew it within one minute. Did I mention this was a poor paying job? Anyhow, I called them and they just hug up on me. I did not give a two week notice and I did sign a form saying I would, but this does not give them the right to steal $400 from me. I can prove this with my checking account records. I was so busy with my new job that I did not pursue this legally. This happened in may of 2007.
K+B Transport stole my first check.

May, 2007?
And you're just NOW bringing this up?
Nevermind the fact you left after a week and signed a form promising a "two week notice" and didn't give one.
Are you pulling our collective chains, because if you are, I'm way too tired to deal with this.

I would have walked off without a two week notice and forgot about that $400 also. You can make that money back in one day or two with a good carrier and who says they wouldn't have kept your next paycheck.
=If it's a bad deal -walk,run -but don't stick around and pray that things will get better. Being fooled once happens. -
Are you in K+B management?
They could have gave me a new dispatcher because I dont put up with people getting in my face, I would have ended up in a fight with this guy. My new job kept me very busy but now that things are slow I have more time to play around on the computer.

k&b, what do k&b stand for kibbles & bits, anyway what about that 2500 mi a week, run them or not, is this true.

Uh, no Eric...I am not now, nor have I ever been affiliated with the company you reference.
I just happen to love to pick on people who claim to have gotten screwed over two years ago, THEN decide it's time to put their gripe in a public forum.
And have you really been driving 20 years? I only ask because you just don't sound like the type who could have survived in this industry that long.
Now go and be well. -
I was on a 1800 mile a week, They did have 2500 mile a week. I would have been home every weekend. I had a cash advance so I actually cleared more then 400. I think the 2500 mile drivers were out 2 or 3 weeks at a time. Looking through the truckers forum and ripoff reports this company has an incredible number of complaints.

What company did you say you worked for? Is your name Sean? Seems kind of strange that you would be on the side of K+B, a company that has a hugh amount of quotes on the trucker forum and ripoff. I doubt if you know how to shift gears on a toyota pickup.
