looks to me like he was trying to get it away from the fuel island, and the other trucks. it seems like once he cleared all the parked trucks and dropped trailers, he stopped.
and that looks like the side of the trailer falling off at the end.

I'm sittin' at the flying J in Lodi, CA. tonight...I stepped out from between my truck and the truck next to me and was almost run down by a MARTEN driver/steering wheel holder going about 25 through the lot! So I watched him stop about 50 yards away and start trying to back into a parking spot so I walked over and ripped him a new one...'Cause I'm getting to the point that I'm gonna start draggin' these MORONS out of their trucks and explaining it to them "with prejudice".
Get a clue boys and girls, No one's impressed.
P.S. MARTEN driver, If you felt disrespected...So what! -
When it comes to driving behavior there are 2 general types of drivers. 1) the drivers that choose their behavior to just keep them out of trouble. 2) the drivers trying to do things so they can't get in trouble.
Here's an example: all the cops are on strike or the state declares a prohibition issuing tickets on minor moving violations. Driver of class 1 will never ever use their turn signals or stop at traffic lights and stop signs ever again. Drivers of class 2 will continue to signal all turns, and stop at all stop signs and red traffic lights. I work in a larg plant with a substantial road network on private property and the low-class Billy Bigriggers run every stop sign, speed and otherwise have no regard for anyone. Whatever, they are doing they assume the right of way. They should be horsewhipped in public but since there is no chance of getting a ticket they have no fear of consequences. To quote a 20th century philosopher "that's truckin" You can be the smartest, most careful, professional driver or you can be the filthiest, dangerous, unreliable collection of DNA and still work as a truck driver. Some people enter trucking because of the slack standards and others stay in trucking despite the slack standards. A few think they would be better if they were paid more or treated better but that's just one of those lies people tell them self to get through the day.simplyred1962, lupe, FriedTater and 1 other person Thank this. -
You forgot the third one...The ones that do things right 'cause it's the "right thing to do". While I agree that there are a lot of the other two types of drivers I know that there are a lot of the third type, Those that don't have to "think" about doing it right because it comes pretty much naturally. These are the guys that "do it right" even when nobody's looking.
These are the best drivers out here and there are a lot more of us than you might think!FriedTater, simplyred1962 and kwray Thank this. -
i forgot you're the best driver on the road. If there was an AP poll to rank drivers like college football teams, i'm sure you're so good, you'd be ranked ZERO, cause you'd be better than #1.
Too bad the marten driver missed. I mean, maybe just knock you over with a side mirror or something, you know? put you out of work for a few weeks. LOL ~!!!! -
Hey look the parking lot speeder decided to show up again!

but i've found the ones who do the most complaining, are the ones who are the most jealous. -
