Looking to start training for Werner at Springfield, OH.
I read complaints about their student driving program and their low pay for student drivers. Since I read complaints on forums about every company hiring student drivers, I think I will go with Werner any ways.
If Werner turns to be a dead end, could there be a problem starting another training program with another company? I still will have the experience gain from Werner but will it be hard to start up with another company?

Make sure not to jump ship too soon. It can be shown as quitting, abandoned vehicle, etc. on your DAC. Put in some time (6+mo's) so that it shows commitment and that you are only leaving to better yourself.

Thanks for the advice. With the economy the way it is, I think it is best to avoid black marks on my record. I believe my first 6 months are going to be though at any company. -
Good luck !

I'm almost at the end of my 300 hour with Werner.
Go for it...keep a good attitude...and soak up as much info and experience as you can. There will be ups and downs but if you stay focused on your long term goals, some of the short term stuff will be more bearable.DDiesel Thanks this. -
do they have the virtual simulators like in the brochure how much do students start at like 26? and do you have to still complete the 300hrs if u have your cdl

I recently read they only have the simulators in Omaha guess it was nothing special in the first place
