In 2002, Prime had 222 crashes for 2703 units, or 8.2%. Whereas Swift (who everbody bad mouths) had 824 crashes for their 16,550 units, or 5%. So much for 'veteran drivers' !! I still stand by my Prime has a history of speeding, the 2 tired drivers stick in my mind more than the average 'baubling' tired driver, since there were using all lanes (including the breakdown lane) going down the road. Didn't respond to my CB and didn't get off the road in both cases. I just don't think that Prime has the accountability or they are being 'pushed' to make tight schedules......

Just out of curiosity, who do YOU work for JAM?I noticed you have a lot to say about everybody elses employers,so let see WHO YOU work for? As far as speeding back in 2002,what does that have to do with the price of CHEESE?And once again as far as tired drivers go,you must not get out very much or maybe you dont drive at all??Cause I see them all the time from alot of different companies.

Right now (& last 3 years) it's been Knight...but you won't see me anywhere bragging on them...just another trucking company! In fact their safety is beating ALL drivers up for any single accident by some other driver. And, of course, as all other trucking companies with BIG turnover rates, changed their hiring min experience from 1 year to 6 mos. Their safety dept. has run amuck---latest is they are coming out with a system to profile "at-risk behavior' using the Qualcomm, of course. You can get fired at Knight if caught doing a U-turn (we all do it, esp. with the bad directions we get over the Qualcomm!), and their 'Sitting Duck' policy includes parking (even if legally) along ANY roadway, including streets in industrial areas (again, we all do that to wait to get into customer's yards!). I'm just putting in my time (work 7 on/4 off) til I retire in 2 years....is that enough bragging DieselID?

Fired for doing a u-turn? What's that about? I've never heard anything that ridiculous.
