No, your driver is over gross. Can't scale out an over weight load
-
Ehhh How far is it going and what is it? Semi local load I’d honestly just run it, especially if it’s full of fuel, Probably waste more $ time wise then what a ticket would be. if it’s going for a ride I would probably go back and knock a little off
overweight tickets are just $ no points though and after running dump trailer for a lot of years there’s not a scale in my area I can’t find a coffee shop to head for away from it650cat425 Thanks this. -
Over gross ,,got to lose some weight. Try it on the scales without his girlfriend in the truck
Dave1837 and Harry Flashman Thank this. -
Hire a lighter driver.
-
Lighten the load-you don’t ever want to go thru a scalehouse over gross. In what state did the truck scale out, because some states (California,Michigan,Florida, Pennsylvania & Maryland to name a few) enforce bridge law regulations meaning you can only move the tandems a certain limit (varies from state to state).
Having said that, there’s too much product in the tail!xsetra Thanks this. -
Some states will allow that load just fine.
Just gotta make the axles legal. #620 lbs is doable. -
As of late some states are cracking down on axle weights, even if the truck is legal on the gross truck weight limit (Virginia,Georgia,South Carolina are known for it). They’ll bat an eye at an axle being 400 lbs over or more. With the scale ticket the OP has he could put (legally) 380 pounds on the drives but he would still be 300 pounds over gross and still be 880 pounds over on the trailer axle.
-
Are those some of the states that allow 70,000 on 3 axle dumps? Some of those Eastern states are really heavy.
-
73k on a regular 10 wheeler in MA, triaxle is good for 77k
Not that you ever go anywhere near a scale with a dump....whether you do or not650cat425 Thanks this.
