You also go over a million miles without it. With today's engine oil quality, there's no need for snake oils.Shawn2130, Crude Truckin', D.Tibbitt and 2 others Thank this.

Just got the mobil delvac 1300 super. Btw do i allways have to change the fuel filters at every oil change? Or just the one oil filter?
-
I've always done everything at once.
Shawn2130 and God prefers Diesels Thank this. -
Certainly doesn't hurt to change every service, filters not really expensive, but I do think it's excessive. Every other is fine. Or just watch your fuel pressure gauge if you have one.Shawn2130 Thanks this.

That's all we add is a half gallon. Don't know if it really helps or not but both trucks don't use more than half gallon between changesGod prefers Diesels Thanks this.

I have peterbuilt 2005 cummins isx 610hb it burns oil when I dont put Lucas with rotella q5w40. When I use delo and I add Lucas. It burns less .

I tore down a 2005 ISX 2 weeks ago.
Has 27,000 hours on it.
Went through over 2 gallons of oil a day last spring.
The undercarriage is all black.
Added another blow by tube that’s 2 inches ID to relieve the crankcase pressure.
Dropped the oil loss to .5 gallon a day.
That truck went all summer that way.
Now replacing pretty much every part inside.
All 6 pistons had broken rings.
Putting all updated parts in. New oil pump, etc.
And we don’t use Lucas in our engines.
Just Kendall 15w-40 Semi Synthetic with liquid Titanium.
All of our Cat engines like it, Cummins should be no different since they share nearly same rotating parts in the bottom end as the C15 ACERT.Goodysnap and spsauerland Thank this. -
