reminds me if when i was sitting passenger with a fellow 399 teamster leaving river front stages and this dude tried to make a right hand turn with 53 and a stretched 280 wheel base with 3 generators sitting on the chassis. i seen him flick the right blinker and i instantly said " your not going to be able to make that turn" his reply " its ok " goes to make the right from a single lane on to a two lane street and creams the light pole.... the funnny part is that he did all this right in front of the police station and said i just kissed it , and the locations guy says " the teamsters are crazy " lmao drives away from scene lol

 

My bid tractor has been at the dealership for over 3 weeks for a DEF issue. Glad I’m not a O/O or I’d probably be bankrupt.

 

lmao , they need to drop the tranny in my volvo with 500k miles on it.

 

Shoot. They replaced the tranny on another guys 2017 Volvo with less than 300k on it.

 

I’m already on 3rd truck this year.

I laugh when they talk about autonomous trucks.

 

Does anybody make a “good” truck anymore? When I started in this business, an o/o bought Paccar if he could afford the “good” trucks, bought a Freightliner If he couldn’t, and got Mack or Volvo if he was in the middle. Who makes a truck that doesn’t constantly break now? My company leases Macks and even the dealer is like “don’t worry about that check engine light being on, it’s just a Telematics issue. Keep rolling “.

 

That's how we are at work check engine light is on and it's just pretty much ignored at this point, we have a fleet of mostly Volvo's ranging from 2011 to 2019. Needless to say our garage is very busy lol.
