Thanks for the info. I think if we ever come back here tho , I'll pc back up to the fuel stop in town and park there. I don't care for Leaning like this to the right on the shoulder. With the temps cold like they are it's pretty solid. I wouldn't think it would be that great if it was warmer and it had been raining. Looks like it could get pretty soft on the shoulder here.

It was a little bit of a cluster but it wasn't too bad. About 3 hours to off load. When I came around the curve, I like to have panicked because it was so many trucks here. I just had enough sense to drive up to the gate and check in that way. It sucked having to do the one driver at a time to the receiving office because it's cold as hell tonight. You ain't lying about that 10 min prior. I timed it to around that when I got here. If I run it again, I'll get here a little sooner.

Cookout is a burger joint. They actually have a variety of food(burgers, hot dogs, chicken, shakes, fries, you name it, they got it). They are highly popular in the Carolinas. They just made it into Tennessee the last 3 or 4 years or so. I've yet to try them but my family that lives in Murfreesboro is crazy about that place. I hear you get a lot of food for your money.

Your lucky she let ya check in at the gate. They used to only accept a phone call to check in.

They were letting everyone check in that way...they weren't even answering the phone...some clown came knocking on the door, threatening me to call the police because I parked on the side street. As soon as I turned out of there, I pulled up on the side and went to sleep. I thought it was the police at first. Once I realized it wasn't the police, I said piss on em and went back to sleep. Lol

I need a service too, but I'm getting loaded in Champaign, IL to go back to Warrenton. I'm guessing I'll deliver it straight through.

Yea if it gets too crazy around there with trucks plugging up the street to the in gate the yard guy calls the cops and they come out an start writing tickets cuz it's all posted no parking. You're better off when empty to pc up to the marathon fuel stop north of 74 an park. It's a rough unpaved lot but I've always been able to find a spot.
