Climate Express

I’m in one of those travel plaza on the turnpike heading back west. Did they save you some deer? They were smoking some yesterday

 

I was talking to this driver earlier that drives for another company but he went through one of our orientation the other week and told me that Climate is gonna put cameras facing both directions. Have y’all heard anything bout it?

 

We I have to swing through the yard in the morning swap trailers take care of a payroll issue then go up there to Coke and take a Coke load to Denver for Friday morning it has something to do with the Friday we might be going up there to the dairy to get a load coming back either that or a load of taters

 

I haven't heard anything about that. The real deal is if if they do I got a feeling they'll lose some drivers. Personally I don't think it would bother me as long as I'm still allowed to use my Bluetooth when I'm driving to talk on the phone. And when I'm ready to call it a day when we take a break or something I can cover it up so we can do whatever we want in the cab of the truck without being watched on freaking camera.

 

And another thing if they were to do that it would start taking us longer to do things because I eat while I'm driving down the road I mean we don't stop three times a day to take breaks to do our meals and when we are running around the clock that'd be having to stop 6 times to eat go to Play Store. Cuz if they had cameras watching you then they're going to say all while you were distracted while you were driving because you were eating a salad or you were eating a sandwich or reaching for a beverage or do you know what I mean.

Well if I got a tolerate that I need to make more money we already don't make enough money here running team I'm making probably 10 to 15 thousand less running team than when I was running solo a year and in my opinion they just don't give us enough miles even when I was running so low they didn't give me enough miles I was talking to the wife the other day about it and I can remember when I made $0.35 a mile back in 2009 running 3000 plus miles weekend week out on a dedicated out to Denver and Wyoming and back and I made more money or the same well actually I made more money doing that that I'm making now at more than $0.10 more miles than that. So yeah if they put cameras in here sorry I don't need a f****** babysitter I didn't get into Trucking to have a babysitter I'll go do something else or drive for somebody else.
