What are you using currently? I had a DAT sub for a month. Kept the Truckstop.

If your are going to rely on a load board you might as well head to Vegas and after the hookers and blow are paid for put the rest on red, atleast you can have fun while going bankrupt

You know when you are starting out you need to rely on something. If one load on that loadboard gets you a contact and helps wean you off it then it is worth every penny.

Many of us solely rely on load board freight for years and did not go bankrupt. It is true that relying 100% on loadboards is best suited for dry van due to the abundance of its freight while for reefers and open decks it may serve a supplemental role as they should rely on more cemented contacts as there is much less freight posted for them. Such contacts at the dry van segment are not as attainable or practiced especially for solo owner operators and small fleets.

Imagine freight to be water in a river...:D

Load boards can be compared to the river overflow reservoirs where a certain level of biological life can be established and sometimes it can be described as thriving too (for instance frogs and some minor fish) but in the end it is not the real river bank.
    It has a lesser rank.

I'm looking for a successful owner operator who is willing to give me online access to their bank account so I can analyze it for 30 days.

You can trust me, plus it's easy for you to change the login and pw after I'm done.

    Ha!
You even skipped the act of borrowing his Peterbilt and stainless steel reefer for a quarter or two...to see how easy the business is.
