I eat diner with a guy pulling a flat using a handicap placard. He only had one leg but you would never know by looking at him.

Im not driving at all, im taking the time off to heal. I just don't want my medical card to expire. Im usually off for a good amount of time during the winter anyways.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

I'm retiring soon since everything is going to be free.

Nothing on FMCSA says anything about being able to get in and out of truck.....
I found a place that goes by the rules...I was told as long as its not a permanent injury I don't need a waiver I can show up with crutches.....ZVar, snowwy and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
People can go all the way to the regional Federal DOT director and demonstrate a skills test if need be.

Times like this I wish I had a van trailer. Or, a hydraulic Rgn. I’ve been looking around for a hydraulic one. But I’d go all out on my next one. Stretch Rgn mini-deck is what I’d get. I’ve seen XL makes them but they are no used ones out there...

That's a loaded answer nowadays!! If you look around at most truck stops one would say or think the "Physically fit" requirement would be to be under 400lbs and not fall out of you're truck and kick around like a beached whale trying to get back up.OldeSkool Thanks this.
