WHAT ISSUES DO THE NEW ONES HAVE?

I've had transmission issues as well. When its wet the tyranny will not go in gear once I stop. This has happened 3 times. The first time it happened I waited 15 minutes and then tried it. Success, back on the road. The next 2 times I called breakdown. After 2 hours and tow trucks almost there to pull me in I was back on the road.

What kind of problems are you having?

I don’t have kw but rather a pete...But the gentleman who delivers the new trucks from kenworth told me that Kenworth was having a litany of issues regarding the transmissions with trucks leaving the factory literally breaking down down the road and having to be towed back to the factory...Something to the effect that it’s computer electrical issue with the transmission

@ Snow Hater and @hotrod1653 I m sorry to hear that both of keep having issues with your trucks. I can t count the number of times that I ve had to pick up a driver from Wallwork, or take them there.

Last time I posted, I delivered in Buena Park Monday AM and then 3 miles over to Fullerton. I headed up to Brisbane. I had a 10am appt, checked in a 6am, got a door at 7 40, and was empty in 15 minutes. Now I m on a load from Napa to Burbank, WA to Grand Forks to finish out a good week.

My truck will be down a few days the following week for a PM, get PasSmart Fixed, and a trip to body shop to get hood repaired from the driver who backed into me when I first got it. Brand new truck and the 3rd day get hit

Busy busy. Right now I’m doing the Grand Forks to West Fargo to Crookston to Grand Forks run. That’ll take a good chunk of my day right there, so no complaints.

Taking home time. I try not to take a 34 while I'm out. Its usually 3 weeks so I run recaps. However, I was instructed by my wife that a 34 would be a good thing because I sleep for nearly 2 days when I come off the road and since she has a "honey do" list that gives me one day to get everything done.
I'll do that next time and see if there's a difference. "SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED" has spoken.

The last time I posted I was enroute from Napa to Burbank, WA. Got loaded a day early in Burbank, and had to get reworked since CA overloaded the nose. 35560. An hour later and rework, I was 33,880 in the nose and rolled with it.

As I was heading to the yard on Friday, all of a sudden my dispatch and the liquor locker calling my phone like debt collectors asking me when I will be at the yard. I guess those Canadians wanted their wine like yesterday. Keep in mind I m still west of Dickinson around 9am. So around 1640, I get to the yard and get them their wine. Then I went to pick up one of our junky trailers to load at the mill. I would ve taken a VB series, but would be overgross with a 45,000 lb load.

Yesterday, I left Fargo after a truck wash and laundry, headed to KC, KS. All hell broke loose when I got to Sisseton, SD scales. Got a Level 1, and put on that new machine that measures break pressure. I was put OOS because not enough break pressure to pass. So after a call to breakdown and 4 hours later, road repair fixed the issue. And since I was there that long, and since our safety score is terrible, I redid the Level 1 and passed.

So after that fiasco, I finally got all green lights the rest of way to KC. S and S had better get their crap together sooner than later.

Yeah seems our shop is kind of lacking a bit here lately. I know the mechanics have been stressed out quite a bit.
