Any companies that will hire with just a cdl permit?

    I got my cdl b permit last month hoping to get on with the school district. Now I have my cdl b permit who can hire me for local work in the spalding county,ga area

    I disagree with that comment. You would be crazy to pony up 7-10 thousand dollars up front when you have plenty of options for no money up front Company Sponsored Training.

    I just got my permit and I have dot card can I get a job and finish being trained on my brake test and maneuvers,while being paid?

    Yeah, some companies will hire you and train you while paying you.

    Yes it is amazing how people will often not read the question correctly. Or misinterpret what it means. I guess on the other side of the coin what others are saying is correct also, he won't get a job with a permit which is correct, however he could eventually be hired if he signed up for a company paid training program. Which I think is what the other drivers are suggesting which is also correct. Personally with the current economy I'd choose the company training option as you at least have job secuity. Paying for training up front with a private school is risky, unless a future student could secure some kind of guarantee that a company would hire them at the end of it. :cool:
