Because, those students are not your friends. Some are ok, but many will knife you and try to cause problems for you. Make friends after you graduate and are assigned your own truck.
Don't trust your trainer either; any details you give the trainer about Uber or your personal life will be relayed to the company.

You are already talking too much. You ARE NOT IN TRUCKING SCHOOL TO MAKE FRIENDS!!! You are there to get your CDL. Trust me, and others that have been there. Shut up, pay attention, get your CDL. You do not want to be friends with 95% of the losers that show up weekly at Truck Driving School, you really don't.

Some are. Trainers/ Mentors are a crap shoot. Again, when your are with your Mentor, NO PERSONAL INFORMATION! Do not talk about your medications, your boyfriend/ girlfriend, sex life, medical issues, etc. Please heed our advice. You come across on this forum as very friendly and open. In my opinion you have given TMI way too often on this forum. It's OK here because you are anonymous. Your life is NOBODY'S BUSINESS in school or training. So.......for 7-8 weeks of your life, keep ALL of your personal stuff to yourself! Good luck
