I am sensing there is another side to this story, that I am not going to ask you to get into. But it is past time to start generating income if you lack savings to continue. Two weeks without work, pay and no explanation is unacceptable - unless your loved one created the problem. Move on...today!

2 weeks to wait for an available tractor??
Things really have gone s*** at WE! When I was there it was about 2 days or so(Christmas week)before I got a tractor(went home on Greyhound for Christmas,came back 3 days later). Lately their MO has been using midroof trucks used for the flatbed division to pull dry van freight-a sure sign that there weren’t enough condo sleepers to go around.
This in spite of the fact that they were splurging on new equipment a few years back(new trailers,new Internationals,Volvos and Cascadias)

 

The best thing your loved one could do as a new driver is run away from western express and go work for Stevens Transport.
