I really don't want to say anything bad about anyone... but I doubt you will get anywhere with them. they tell you up front that they will fix anything they need to before you leave. but then it's your baby. When I was there someone was trying to get them to fix a broken closet door after he had left and they wouldn't do it so I doubt they'll give you a $4k repair.
Why did you buy a truck with the check engine light on? if they said it just needed to be cleared you chuld have had it cleared before you left to make sure it didn't come back on.
wireing problems suck but they are the nature of the beast with all these electronics we have these days and this calcium chloride they are using on the roads now just EATS the wiring away. I've got a bunch of wiring glitches and I imagine I will always be chasing some electrical plug or another. used trucks are used trucks, not new. you will ALWAYS have problems with used trucks, if your going to buy them it's up to you to try to see that you don't buy the ones with BIG issues.
if the trucks had zero problems they wouldn't sell them

my truck had a code for the AC. it was not an active code. but later (after replacing the compressor for $750) I found there was a glitch in the plug for the high pressure switch which was what was causing the code. it would only go active when i'd hit a bump or something and the plug moved just right.
I also have a bad ground or something in my engine fan. after replacing two fan solinoids ($165 an $125) we found it is an intermitant glitch. I'm running around with my fan on all the time. Am I happy about it? hell no, but it's not their fault any more then it's mine -

Thank you for the updates at this place. My cousin will be there next week and I can give him these inside tips about the trucks. I'm wondering when or how often they get stock in ? I would think they have some kind of idea when they receive fresh stock. Waiting til then might be a better plan. -
I talked to her a bit this morning. Sounds like they are having MUCH better luck with the petes. and they like them too. lol

Well that's good news.. Hopefully they find one that doesn't need duct tape and bailing wire..Tankergirl80 Thanks this.
