Actually checking your gauges(that includes the fuel gauge)is part of the pretrip to make sure it’s operating properly. Now as far as A/C goes,a lot of them nowadays have the window defrosters tied in,and that’s a safety item which is required to work(again, pretrip).
-
So show me anywhere where it has a required list of gauges. Defrost were around long before a/c.
-
I said CHECKING your gauges to make sure they were operating properly, not the required listing. I also mentioned that NOWADAYS the defrost and the a/c are tied in together.
393.51 covers the gauges section.
Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (eCFR)
393.79 covers windshield defrost and defoggingLast edited: Apr 28, 2020

#### sorry to hear your misfortune Gucci.
Been here at Giltner for a month now and absolutely love it. As far as all they kindly provide for you to get to orientation, i understood as, if you QUIT before 90 days or six mos. I can't remember than you will pay them back for all expenses incurred. It's only fair. I guess it's to protect them from job hoppers. This so far is a great place to work. Good luck sir. -
your air pressure is required to be within certain ranges, and pass the air tests that you do on them, in order to do those tests you look at the air gauge. thus it's required to work.
if a dot officer conducts tests air pressure tests gauges not working, you'd get a violation. -
no ####, read what you quoted
