Op ought to try delivering roll off dumpsters. Trying to kick off a 8 foot tall 20 foot long dumpster in a driveway off a residential alley working under and around all sorts of wires while not taking out the garage, car, or stupid rose bush in the middle of a northern wi winter was always super fun.

Make it a 40’ box on a 53’ rollback trailer and I can relate. Seems like every month we’re averaging more residentials than the previous one. You got me on the WI winter though. Down here, if total snowfall for the winter adds up to a foot it was a bad year. -
Home delivery paid more, hand truck it inside. COD WAS EVEN BETTER.

Ya,some Brady Bunch neighborhoods are manageable. Small towns with old neighborhoods can be the Wost. I was dedicated by my company to Mokan delivering appliances with a sleeper, 53' lift gate van.Made my 1st stop at Old Dominion in Strafford Mo. The dock hand was a "human map". I say " You ever heard of this appliance store in Lebanon. He broke out in maniacal laughter. He says yeah,I've been there ., in a 20' box truck. Anyway..He says "You're gonna get there at noon. And Have to some how? Pull all the way up to the KFC drive thru box, to get in that alley.Parking lot at KFC was packed, cars along the street,April Thunderstorm etc. .It gets to a point where its just Silly. Not to mention a Safety Hazard.Gearjammin' Penguin, jmz, Cardfan89 and 1 other person Thank this.

Right, and then when you’re stuck that tune magically changes to “uh.... I thought you were talking about a pickup truck”.
