King of freight is a joke. Don't waste your time.
6wheeler Thanks this. -
I called King of Freight a week or so ago and the guy said they wanted a full ####ing year on my MC as a one man operation before I could haul for them. I laughed at how absurd it was and said "have a nice day" and we hung up. Immediately put them on my so far very short list of places I won't be doing business with even after I get the year in.
God prefers Diesels and 6wheeler Thank this. -
Guess you showed them.86scotty Thanks this.

It's not about showing anyone up or anything like that. Just one truck who won't work with them doesn't do much. If many others feel the same way, it hurts them. If it hurts enough, they change their ways.
-
Not likely. Someone is always willing to haul a load even at a loss. I cleaned up my phone yesterday and hadn’t thought about the terrible rates back in the spring. I had screenshots of loads posted for 77 cents per mile.

Yes, most if what they post is cheap. What I can't figure out is how some of these brokers get their freight moved when its paying much less than everything else going to the same general area.
-
Just because a load posts for a low rate doesn’t always mean that that’s what it went for.

Good grief. Places like "King of Freight" are for newbie bottom feeders like me. Who in their right mind would haul for them after they had a year under their belt? Talk about alienating your customer base.86scotty Thanks this.
