Another words do everything right.
Hate your job - do a good job till ya find another. Don't lie, steal or cheat. Shook hands on a bad deal, honor it anyways.
Most fall short but to be a Christian means you must try your best to be upstanding in all things.
If you tell me you're a Christian it automatically means I'll hold you to a higher standard, no free passes on bad behavior. It's usually best not to tell me. I'm not particularly fond of hypocrites.

I don't agree with many people's teachings but I do my best to tolerate them. Remember when they are being annoying, in their mind they are trying to help you. So while they should respect your beliefs you should at least tolerate theirs.

Religious discussions in the main forum turn into brawls, sooner or later. Take them to the Religion threads.

 

No brawls here so far, just some friendly comments.
I like it that way.

And they should not be strictly limited to a certain forum, I think.
Some good natured banter is always good food for thought for everyone and anyone.

We mustn't close our minds off completely to different ways of thinking or looking at things.

We run into things on the road everyday that pertain to this.
Just yesterday I was approached in the fuel island by a woman that was doing missionary work.
She handed me a couple papers to read and asked for a donation. I had $3 in my wallet, which I gave her.
She asked if she could pray with me to ask for my safety out on the road.
My response was "No thanks. He has me covered."
She got a kick out of that.

The point is that we all approach things a bit differently out here, but they do not have to be totally exclusive of one another.

 

What part of my request did you not understand? Religious posts in the main forum tend to create arguments. Arguments turn into fights. Fights lead to insults and very un-Christian type behavior.
They also lead to penalties and banning and more work for the staff.
That's why we have the Religion forum. It's very lightly moderated and unless somebody reports bad behavior to the staff we tend to stay out of it.
Religious discussions in the main forum will be moved to the Religion forum. If a member persists in posting religious material in the main forum, after being warned against it, his posting privileges will be cancelled.

 

Should take 18 months with 1 company to make other companies interested in talking to you.
