Travel Centers of America is failing and will declare bankruptcy within five years.

That place has been a dump for years bested only by north platte .

 

Another new Love's truck stop just opened in Napoleon Ohio across the street from the Petro

 

Hopefully the fuel king truckstop across the highway is able to survive. The sit down restaurant it has is good and reasonably priced...

 

Clearwater is awesome! In fact, I've noticed the majority of Mom-and-Pop truck stops on I-94 in Minnesota and Wisconsin are good. Rothsay, Big Chief in Fergus Falls, Exit 45 in Menomonie, Golden Express in Osseo, Hixton near Black River Falls, Edgerton, and the Pine Cones in Johnson Creek and DeForest.

 

The new Speedway and Wilco’s are pretty good. Though they don’t all have sit down restaurants.
The new speedway on I 10 exit 44 in Alabama is pretty nice.
The TA in Montgomery Al should be bulldozed.

 

Speedway has added a bunch of locations here in east TN recently. They are my 1st choice for fueling these days. Most have extremely limited or no overnight parking and no shower facilities though. But since all of my driving these days is local, all I care about is being able to fuel quickly, grab a coffee, and get on my way.

 

He should have been doing an exorcism.
