As I said not trying to insult you. From your post it seems like you don't want to deal with problems. If that is the case being a O/O is not for you. If being a O/O is not for you why own a truck? Now could you possibly run your truck @ this other carrier? If that is possible try it. Good luck with what you decide
Should I sell my truck?

You're good. No this company does not have O/O.
I think basically if I ever went back O/O it would be own authority. I feel that would make the problems more worthwhile and could lead to something.
But for now, this is the way. -
Sorry wrong on both parts. I’m the guy making money and not crying about bumps in the road.

And what do you want for that, a cookie? a handjob?

I change my mind. You should get your own authority and start building a company right now. Getting 100% of the invoice vs 65% would super charge your growth seems to me. I can’t imagine $3/mi turning into 1.95/mi all the time. And that’s when times are good.
Go for it man. Go hard for 10 yrs and see where your at. I’m proud and happy that’s the route I took myself. -
I've been tempted at times man but there were some details I left out of my OP that I didn't want to share. Some events that were out of my control over the course of a few days over the last week and the way it came back showed me I'm right where I need to be at this company. Showed me how lucky and blessed I am and that it's time to worry about what matters. Maybe one day in the future I'd circle back to starting a trucking company but in the meantime it seems I am being led a certain way. Maybe it's all coming together as some have said.
Probably will sell the truck.mudflap77 and Midwest Trucker Thank this.
