Same, I have learned to predict when it will hit and make sure I am leaning forward out of the seat.
It will still occasionally catch me if things get hectic dealing with a tricky turn in heavy traffic etc where not hitting stuff takes precedence over not getting smacked.

I'm a one year rookie so probably everyone else knows this already but I just recently figured to turn the jake-brakes off when slowing down to a stop coming off the highway or slowing way down for slow traffic. I have an automatic truck and I found the surge and the jakes can start fighting each other pushing ( jerking ) the truck back-and-forth especially on the downshift gear changes. Now when I get down to about 50 mph I just switch the jakes off and smoothly come to a stop w/ the service brakes rather than let the truck get into a tug of war with itself while yanking me back-n-forth in the drivers seat!

Lol that’s good thinking; my truck does the same if I’m not going fast enough with the jakes in the highest position, can’t imagine having a tanker on the back for that650cat425 Thanks this.

One of my regular customers is masonry plasticizer in totes. I get a pretty good surge, especially if the totes aren't filled to the topBean Jr. and farmerjohn64 Thank this.

Arrange them in a radial pattern (like spokes in an old wagon wheel) then cover them with tarps to make baffles.

I'm not sure if you're on here anymore but I was wondering if you could give any info on WDT as far as pay, home time, training, their school and anything else.
