Also, look for a clinic that doesn't ask about apnea and see if your company will accept a med card from them even if you have to pay for it.
Apnea testing isn't required and as such you don't need to play the games some clinics like to play with it.

Probably have a refresher course to get you ready for Class 8 trucks.
Ask recruiter about that.
Some military vets posted they got a free CPAP machine through the VA hospitals.
Schneider also has box trucks, but don't know if they'll install an inverter in them or not for the CPAP machine.
I'd go for the tractor-trailer refresher course.

 

No, if you want the Dollar account, then go for it. You'll probably be with a trainer for a couple weeks anyway.
Those accounts have some serious backing; keep that in mind. Look at the parking lots, then imagine backing a 53' trailer through them. Very challenging in a sleeper truck.
