Also, look for a clinic that doesn't ask about apnea and see if your company will accept a med card from them even if you have to pay for it.
Apnea testing isn't required and as such you don't need to play the games some clinics like to play with it.God prefers Diesels, Roger McG and Numb Thank this. -

Apply with Schneider now so you don't have a break in employment and before your current med card expires. www.schneiderjobs.com

Probably have a refresher course to get you ready for Class 8 trucks.
Ask recruiter about that.
Some military vets posted they got a free CPAP machine through the VA hospitals.
Schneider also has box trucks, but don't know if they'll install an inverter in them or not for the CPAP machine.
I'd go for the tractor-trailer refresher course. -
i've already applied lol, i applied for a family dollar account but since i would possibly need a refresher should i apply for a different account?
-
No, if you want the Dollar account, then go for it. You'll probably be with a trainer for a couple weeks anyway.
Those accounts have some serious backing; keep that in mind. Look at the parking lots, then imagine backing a 53' trailer through them. Very challenging in a sleeper truck.firemedic2816 Thanks this. -
i had one when i was at swift with my mentor that involved backing behind a mall and angling the trailer with a brick wall on one side and a building on the other, fun times lol
Chinatown Thanks this.
