Your son might be well advised to wait and see what happens in the US before he decides to come south of the 49th. Regardless of the outcome of this current election debacle, the potential for increasing civil unrest and violent confrontations is likely to continue to rise. For some reason, trucks are seen as easy targets for some of these violent confrontations and unfortunately the trucks are not made for operation in hostile environments. If you are looking at "normal" news channels, you would get the impression that everything is hunky dory down here but the truth is quite the opposite.

I seriously think it will increase, leaders within both ANTIFA and BLM have stated that Biden is not the objective, the FULL implementation of Karl Marx's manifesto is their stated goal, so I see them continuing to grow their movements and violent acts. At some point I think Americans who want to preserve their current way of life are going to step up and create a counter movement which will surely end in violent confrontations not seen since the Civil War. The history of Marxism has always been guerrilla warfare against the established government until they create enough instability to seize power.
