Usually every time I've had that run, it was after delivering in Pueblo, and I think that's like a 160 mile deadhead to Monte Vista. All of those potato spots load super quick, and the loaded miles barely over 1000. You're probably right about the Walmart schedule. I'd usually make it to about Oakley the first night and then by Tuesday night, I'm in Moberly, then its basically sitting 24 plus hrs before driving any meaningful miles.

They give us pilot an flying hooks in our routing to use. We use both at salina. Yea load taters in monte vista co. At times ya load on monday an it don't deliver till Thursday. Dispatch won't bother to try an move appt earlier or repower it or have ya bring outta route to st louis an have someone else grab it closer to delivery time. They just expect ya to sit on it an that's trucking. I got news for em if they give that load to me an wife that load as a team they're either gonna pay us both more than their 50 each layover or I'll be definitely finding another job. I'm kinda gettin fed up with their inability to plan us efficiently anyway.Lumper Humper and motocross25 Thank this.

Reloaded sugar at swedesboro. Kinda wondering what happened to reloading that one broker load coming back to general mills hannibal.Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this.

Yea we haven't run milk in quite a bit. An a steady diet of that would be perfect for the wife an i as long as it's planned efficiently.Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this.

For a while there I was running milk something serious. Platteville to Columbia and vice versa would be a well paying dedicated run for y'all, or even Lumper. Would you believe that there were drivers that could not make that turn around?Lumper Humper Thanks this.

Running into Jersey has become a lot less predictable the last couple of times I've gone there. The first few times it was either Palmyra, or that run that picks up toward the bottom of Jersey and comes to Jefferson City.Lumper Humper Thanks this.

I sure can. Look at all the loads we've repowered in the past for driver's that couldn't make it somewhere.Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this.

We had a dry van so i knew we weren't goin to Palmyra. I was just curious about that hannibal run cuz that could be a nice consistent turn for someone that don't mind hitting jersey twice a week.bryan21384 Thanks this.
