Abandoned truck and trailer derailed your week didn't it? I'm at the pilot in Robinson til morning. I kept getting delayed today. I thought I had a 6 am delivery appt in San Antonio this morning. I got there only to find out it was supposed to be 10 am. Robert sends me the email confirmation saying it was scheduled for 6 am so he has me go back over there at around 0830ish or so. I still had to wait there a couple of hours or better to get offloaded. Then off to Laredo. That was about 2 hrs loading. I was trying to get north of Dallas but such is life. It will probably be early Saturday when I get back up to STL instead of tomorrow night like around midnight.

Lol Rescue Rangers!!!! You know the owners of all these companies can give drivers the world and they will still have empty trucks. Everyone wants the money, but some don't do what it takes to get it.To me, Climate is about as good a company as it gets. The lifestyle don't suit everyone. They get into trucking, looking at it with a glorified eye, then reality hits. It's all good and fine, then they hit that first snow storm, miss that first Christmas, have one day where it falls apart, and have to sit for a day, and that makes drivers(particularly inexperienced ones) 2nd guess their choice. Climate has a really good system that can pay drivers steady money. Once a driver can figure out there system, his/her pay will take off. I just don't think they are made for every CDL holder. They expect drivers to run hard as hell here, and that definitely don't suit everyone.Lumper Humper Thanks this.

Thx brother! When they told me I about my seniority I was surprised myself but starting at McLane right after high school 5 years in the warehouse and 10 years delivering they valued that. Not saying that Climate doesn’t value their driver...As far as accounts goes this DC I’ll be working at mainly delivers to the YUM Brands...KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and long Johns. They also do Sonic, Applebee’s, IHOP and they just picked up Panda Express a few years ago. I know other Mclane’s do like groceries stores and gas stations. There benefits package and 401k program are ridiculously awesome! I was thinking bout going to the Memphis DC since I stay in Arkansas but now that my legal issues are over with my ex I thought I just go back home to Cincinnati.Lumper Humper and motocross25 Thank this.

Yea i do like climate and we run as hard as they'll let us. I do wish a few things about the pay structure were a little different and improved an the benefits were better as far as the deductibles but the insurance costs an deductibles are high everywhere now cuz our govt screwed up healthcare. But my hats off to climate. we run all over the place like we like to and we go home whenever we want to for as long as we want to no questions asked.Lumper Humper Thanks this.
