Watched a 40ft can today drop his loaded wagon and rip all his lines out. I really felt bad for him i see him all the time in here. He's got an older 379 that's still real nice for a pier rat. Took both of us to crank the legs back up. I'm surprised they didn't buckle or get jammed. It was a pretty new chassis. I put it next to one of the doors for him, that was about noon time. 430 rolls around, the next guy before me to get a dock takes half a hr to hit the dock with a daycab and a 40ft can. Kept doing the same thing over and over. If by the 2nd or 3rd time your not hitting it, it's time to pull up and start from scratch again

I got ####ed around today and yesterday but it doesn't happen too much, thankfully. I'm usually out by 930-10:30am if I have the 8:30-9:30 apt time. Happened yesterday too, I was to bring down some more wine bottles but didn't get out of there til 12:00 yesterday. 2hr 52min each way if traffic doesn't hold you up and the shipper leaves at 3pm. I wasn't gonna hold them up so i called an ok'ed to pu in the am and deliver straight thru.
I would of just been better off leaving at noon today Lol rather than getting there esrly. Got a nice 3 day weekend tho both trucks pu for mon tomorrow -
That's what boggles me sometimes. People don't slow down and reassess what they're doing.
I by no means think I'm perfect and try not to judge too harshly on most occasions. But when it's obvious that something isn't right, speeding up and sending it w/o a FNEB given is the wrong answer. Especially when it leads to property/vehicle damage that was 100% avoidable. -
Well Jason Vorhees next fuel stop is Tucumcari, NM
