Wage Garnishment for truck being towed while on home time.

Maybe those other trucks called the property owner, and they may even pay to park there. Doesn't matter in either case as it was you trespassing.

 

Many years ago I would park in a small strip mall when I brought the truck home which wasn't often. We had a pretty good snowstorm and they came to plow the lot. The plow guys simply called my company and asked if the driver could come move the truck, my company called me, and I went over and moved the truck. No tows, no bickering, no threats, 1998 seemed like such a simpler time, lol

 

The police gave you permission to park there.
What were you supposed to do; tell the police you think they're lying?
Quit that company you're with and find a decent outfit.

 

No they didn't as they don't have the authority to give permission to park on private property. The most they can do is claim they will not take action unless the property owner trespasses them.
Some states don't need the officer to trespass them on private property. Some states need posted signs, some don't need any notice.

Point is, the officer claiming someone can park on property they don't own is lying. Although a good officer would have made it clear he can't say what's fine on private property.

well, at the time you filled out the something like 27,000 pieces of paper during orientation, you could have indeed signed such a document. you should ask to see that document, and that'll settle it all.

 

You could pay or you could quit with the possibility of having “ illegal parking resulting in a tow on your DAC if they use that. Myself I’d be ticked off but pay because I like my job . But knowing my boss he’d eat half or all the cost because of my performance.
