The truth about Sweet express/Omni

Trying to figure the math here. One driver posts 45cpm in 2017 and another posts 46cpm in 2021. I don't know if the 33% per diem is on top of or a part of 46 cents.
Personally I don't consider per diem a good thing. Also there are IRS qualifications for per diem. In my experience, trucking companies will pay it, sometimes even force it whether you are qualified or not.

 

So the guy waits 4 years and bumps a thread to call another guy a liar about a company that nobody is talking about anyway and also still appears to pay very low cpm.

 

Okay here it is April 2021 and I’m going to say Sweet Express can lick the sweat off my nuts. The first 6 months everything is awesome, and then all of sudden without warning 0.46cpm with 1,700 miles a week, you will get $300 paychecks. I’m a truck driver and I’ll be ###### some sorry ### Bosnian is going to make me go to the poor house. I left 2 weeks ago without warning, got to Grand Rapids and turned their truck, fuel card, and keys in and went to a company that started me at 0.62cpm and freedom. As for that other driver I’m sorry I doubted you, you hit the nail on the head about Sweet Express. My best advice to anyone....RUN!!!

That’s about it...there is a guy in safety that once you see him you honestly want to whoop his ###, but the smart thing to do is just walk away
