Our team average for last year was 4500 miles a week

 

I don't remember a single week example but 2700 or 2800 was my best average over the course of a whole year.

 

Looks like poor planning on their part, dispatch that is...

 

I'm not sure which you're referring to as poor planning. The Denver and Monte Vista thing on Friday yes that was poor planning for sure. The low team miles that we get on average is attributed to the fact that they are not really a team company. Out of roughly 250 power units we only have three teams that I'm for sure of including my wife and I and possibly one more. So they just kind of try to make it work but I knew that going into it.

 

Most I've made in a year here including per diem is 60k. That's the federal gross on the W-2 plus the per diem listed on the W-2. And that was when i ran solo.

 

And for solo i agree with ya. And as you've said before in maybe not the same words that I'm about to use. For this type of gig be it reefer or dry and just your a-typical freight company the average i quoted and the 60k a yr that goes along with it is more the norm among most companies. It would be a pipe dream i believe to ever think ya could nail 70k plus here. 60 to 65 should be doable though.
