    I used to do city work in Lincoln 25 years ago but I dont know much about it anymore .
    Got home Monday and been laying low since ...leave for Manchester pa tmw .

    We’ve all “wimped out” at some point. I recall the time a snowstorm hit us right when I left on my peddle run. Add to that, a load where the trailer tandem outweighed the single drive by more than double.

    No, that’s not dangerous at all in a snowstorm. :rolleyes:

    I made it 30 miles and turned around after slipping and sliding all over the place on 50.

    I think alot of people under estimate 80 across iowa ....lots of hills and valleys from mm 265 to omaha and on to Lincoln Nebraska.
    Wind blows hard and makes it an icy mess .
    Contrary to popular belief iowa is far from flat ! And catches those not in the know off gaurd .

    If someone tells you Iowa is flat they have never been or they have a big horse. Put 45K in the box with a 300 scummins you will think it’s 500 miles across.

    Most people think all of Ohio is flat. They have never driven the side roads to the gas wells on the southeastern side of the state. There’s places where I wished I was in WV. And the people are bigger hillbillies then their WV counterparts LOL

    That is no kidding ! 11 and 7 are like a trip back in time .
    Had a partial meat drop in Barnesville oh years ago and the guy that unloaded me told me weed was the biggest cash crop in the county .

    Heads up boys and girls .
    Track is uncertain as of now but round 2 after today's snow is headed for the central plains on Monday.
    Coming out Colorado and Kansas... kearney , omaha , des moines , dubuque, Madison, Milwaukee in the 12 to 24 inch range Sunday night into Monday
    Ice storm likely from far southern Iowa into Missouri.
    Flooding concerns in Arkansas.

    I previously posted that I had heard that Morehouse would sell out in a few years which had me concerned as I'm very content here .
    Found out today that Brad and Curt bought out their father ( gerald ) ...relief!
    All 3 are very savvy people but I dont see the company changing hands out of the family now in my lifetime .
    Brad and curt are perfect people to take full control ...I was worried....relief !

    I can hardly wait (not)... Can't figure out whay the heck is gonna happen on the South side of Chicago. Anywhere between 3 inches and we're all gonna die depending on which weather forecast you look at.

    Either way I just parked for the night ( just a bit off of one your old favs, Ohio 7) and should be back in the yard mid evening tomorrow to start my 4 off.... good timing for a change.
