$4.95 per day at the flying J.
$4.79 per day at Pilot, TA, & Petro.
$1.99 per hour at all locations.
$19.99 per month at Pilot, TA, & Petro
$24.95 per month at Flying J

Idleaire diddo's the Pilot, TA, & Petro prices. The prices aren't worth it. Get a figgen air card. I got one... Just as soon as I figure ot out, wifi is GONE!

If you get a subscription at all of them (like me) because you need internet to properly conduct business & truck stops can't gaurentee you a parking spot... You are looking at over $80.00 a month for a ###### service. Actually the only wifi provider that I like is the flying J. I call and complain daily to the headquarters of TA... I haven't paid for their service in 3 months because I don't think it is worth it. If they offer a decent service, then I will quit complaining and demanding my money back.

Now what is the price of an air card? $60.00 a month? And you get better service & can connect at shippers, recievers, truckstops, exit ramps, rest areas, & grandma's house.

That might be a good idea, if their connections have any speed. Can't have the US Post Office offering me better deals... Thanks

I'm telling ya... Don't waste your money on wifi. It will be a better deal with a air card! I really don't want to say "I told ya so" in a couple months.

Or....mod your laptop with an external antenna connector, hook it up to a signal boost box, and grab a nice 15dB omni antenna and mount it to the truck (or even a 37dB directional on a rotating mount). It's amazing the number of unsecured networks you can glom on to when you boost your range. OK, sorry, my geek is showing.

I buy Idle aire 20 bucks a month (cheaper if you buy for the year)... If you arent stopping at an idle aire location, just pick up a FREE WIFI motel/hotel location.... even Mc Donalds or starbucks is FREE!

I don't get an aircard because half the nights I'm out I'm in Canada . I have the yearly subscription to Flying J . I once subscribed to Loves and it appears they have unlimited service . When I would log on it would tell me how many days I had remaining never mentioning gb .

Its amazing how many of us geeks are out there. I have a directional that I play with, since Wardriving even from the comfort of the truck stop is fun. Also, you can usually find a free wifi spot that is open to public with one of those. There is almost always a coffee shop within range.

For the most part though, I just use my aircard. My wireless card doesn't even get turned on most of the time unless I'm home.

just an added bit of info, when using an air card from a wireless provider, if you go over the limit, say you have 5 gig use, and you watch alot of videos, you will use up your limit and then it will cost you. i heard of someone that watches a program, and quite often, and his bill was over $800 for the month. be careful.
the best wifi connection i found is at the flying Js.
