Was looking at megacab, but then realized that can't laydown properly in the back seat being 5'10" and 6'2". So looking at a used cascadia with a propride 5th wheel hitch. Would have me with a cdl and my husband and his service dog. While we tow the larger 5th wheels. Knows can go through a carrier for what loads I want. My question is can he ride with me? Is there anything I should know about owning a cascadia?

904000 on my 2013 cascadia now ...not perfect but been a pretty good truck .
Well cared for and not pounded to piss .
Would I buy another? Yep !OldeSkool and BackwoodsGA Thank this. -
Truck would last forever doing that kind of weights. Look into “Ping” tanks too, to soften the ride.
A semi truck is built for much heavier weights, it will give camper trailers a harsh ride. -
2 people plus a dog will not do well in a pickup truck. On the other side, if you are buying a semi why mess with a hotshot trailer? If you can't get a semi trailer then run power only.

He can ride with you. The way you framed you original post the guys was assuming both you and him would be team running the pickup and would need special sleeping setup.

I like them. You could find one that was a single axle in the back instead of tandem that would help your turning radius a bit.
Lite bug Thanks this.
