Do you have to buy them now? Used to you get them free from your company or the truck stop, but its been 7 years since I had to use one.77fib77 Thanks this.

Get them free at TA/petro. Last time I asked loves they claimed they didn’t use them anymore. Pilot I have no idea since I very rarely stop at one.

Yeah, that is what I thought. I kept a stack in my truck. Every once in a while, if I ran out or forgot I went to the fuel desk and they always had them. As far as I remembered it was free at any truckstop.

It's like $.50 a check. I need them every once in a while and not many stops appear to carry them these days

Used to they would give you as many as you asked for at any pilot. I'd get a dozen at a time. Last time I asked they acted like I was asking for gold and grudgingly gave me 2 checks. Most places are all electronic anymore and don't need a physical check.
