I'm still on the Bluffton load. I was so tired that I parked, ate, and went to sleep. I deliver Bluffton at 9:45 EST tonight.Lumper Humper Thanks this.

Oh 10-4. We deliver at 06:45 e.s.t in morning. We're in vandalia still on way to edwardsville. Providing we don't have any issues with the next trailer i think we'll have time to stop an get a shower on our way to Bluffton.Lumper Humper Thanks this.

Hell every time I have issues with a trailer out of Midwest DC, I'll run to East STL to get it fixed. They have the account there and I can kill 2 birds with one stone. I lucked up this time, trailer 3614 looks #### good! I went to East STL once for a washout, only to run to Midwest DC and come back for the most funky tire I've ever seen. I don't know how it didn't blow. No tread, just bumpy, looking it had measlesProfessor No-Name and Lumper Humper Thank this.

Isn't the lumper fee prepaid by Hershey's for the peyton's warehouse in Bluffton? Just wondering cuz dispatch sent us a com data code for 500. Yet i don't recall having to pay the lumper fee before at Bluffton.Lumper Humper Thanks this.

Yea 10-4. It's supposed to be down to 14 degrees in Bluffton tonight so i treated the truck plus treated the trailer we pulled out of Hershey's. So far tho I've gotta say it doesn't seem like this winter has been too bad. We must be missing a lot of bad weather cuz we not been running 80 out to nevada this winter.

I think they just send a xpress code just in case.Professor No-Name Thanks this.
-
Oh they sent the Lumper fee? That means you'll be unloading at the end of the building, closer to the exit. I gave them a lumper fee last week or the week before, whenever I was here last. If you are hauling just straight up candy, then its prepaid. Whenever they put products like nutella, or chocolate syrup/cocoa, then you get a lumper code. They didn't give me the code beforehand. I had to send a message. I'm thinking when it's more along the lines of a dry grocery load then just checkout line candy, that's when it isn't prepaid. I've given a lumper a couple of times here.Lumper Humper and Professor No-Name Thank this.

It hasn't been too terrible to operate in. I've definitely had my battles with snow. A couple of weeks ago when I picked up in Chicagoland, it got down to about 12 with a wind chill of 3. Snowed something serious. It was so cold up there, when I got to Indiana for lunch, it was 24 and it felt warm lolProfessor No-Name Thanks this.
