Must have passed you myself somewhere along the line. Came down 81 and then went west on 80. Dang but they were working the westbound hard yesterday. Bet I saw 14 troopers from 81 to # mm 200. Looked like they were getting rdy to set up the scales there at that 1st rest area west of 81.
Parked right by a Waffle house in Lima then didn't even eat there. Did get locked in the store across the street this morning tho. Went in there # 0415 this morning for coffee (stone cold, YUCK) and to use the bathroom. Came out and doors were locked and a sign on the door saying they'd be back soon and gav e a # to call. Well ####- -left the cell in the truck. -

I am a quick learner! I am a former Navy SEAL. I guess I just have to decide if I want to have a personal 1 on 1 trainer for 4 weeks prior to getting my cdl and then a personal trainer for 4 months before going solo, or go to a classroom/group envirnoment for two weeks, get my cdl and then after 4 weeks, go solo.
I have alot to think about for two months!
Thanks for your help!
God Bless!
JimPanhandle flash Thanks this. -
well i made it to conley for the driver appreciation cookout and it seemd to me that ther were very few drivers there more office staff and mechanics than anybody. all the burgers were gone and there was only 4 hot dogs left. no goodies for the drivers this year not a hat coffee mug or anything. the more things change the more they stay the same is my take on it. got to meet bootlegger today great guy and he lucked up on a sweet w-9 a big ole black one. me personally i would have chose red but regardless its a beautiful truck . have fun with it boot and well see ya on the road. then i put my truck in the shop to get the sensor tracs working no go there too they could not fix it and say it needs to go to wvc you were right jj they stood around and scratched their heads i love it. so i guess ill get with my f/m tomorrow and head to utah. and we'll see if those clowns can fix it.

being anew driver you will possiabally get one of the holidays not both. i've already been turned down for thanksgiving theres too many drivers on each fleet to get everybody home the ones who have been there the longest get the first shot at being off. thats the trucking business the freights gotta move holiday or any other day. the only holiday ive been off this year was july 4th i worked all the reast of them and so did a lot of other central drivers. yes this policy does suck. but a company just cant shut down because its a holiday. hope it works out for you. im just gonna keep praying i can at least get christmas or maybe the weekend after.
