Would this cause pressuring up and blowing out all coolant from reservoir ?
Same engine 2013 Maxxforce 13 . This happened to me last week.
Haven’t pulled intake hose yet as the previous suggestion. No leaks or smoke

Air compressor or cracked cylinder head will cause this.

Swap it for a C13 or a DD13.

I have what looks to be coolant in my oil and it’s also pushing coolant out the reservoir. Would this apply to my issue also. Same year and engine.

Failed oil cooler would be more likely.
Oxbow and petefan4000 Thank this. -
Probably the oil cooler.

2013 mf13 engine ,I replaced bad head and I now get about 1/2 gallon oil a week in water reservoir after 2500 miles. Could this head be defective with cracked or bad machined oil port ? no oil in reservoir prior to changing old cracked head. Didn't disturb oil cooler housing when replacing head so i feel like it isn't the problem. Any suggestions on where the oil is entering cooling system?Last edited: Nov 14, 2021

Oil cooler

I originally thought so too. Got one laying in floor to swap it and see if that solves the problem. Thanks for the help, will keep you posted if not solved with oil cooler replacement

I have a 2014 maxxforce 13 that puts soot in the coolant reservoir only under boost
