I found the least expensive way to obtain a passport card. Just $45. Go to www.travel.state.gov.

So with 7 days of clothing for 14 days- that means you are wearing the same shirt 2 days in a row. That might work, but I would imagine a few extra shirts on top of that would be a good idea. I was thinking 10 t-shirts (i like to sleep in tshirts) and like 3-4 button up type shirts. What do you think??

You need to remember that while training you are a "guest" in anothers truck! He owns most of the space in there and you'll be living out of the bag! That's why I said 7 shirts BUT I wear button up's so I guess if you wear only T's then yes a few extras wouldn't hurt just remember the rule. If it doesn't fit in the bag you don't need it.
Also you don't need a flash light! The trainer will have one! Unless you have one of those tiny ones that fits on your key chain. Your trainer will have all the rest of the necessary things needed to take care of business. You're ONLY there to learn not repair stuff or cook meals, so the only things you will need while training is clothing and your basic necessities! No food no refrigerators no tools no nothing except clothing and personal effects! You'll be riding on a bus or flying and you're short of cash and $50 for an extra bag on freaking Greyhound is stupid! Live without it for a few weeks! And for those few weeks it won't hurt to go without a shower every day! You're on an extended camping trip! LOL

Thanks Rollover, Everything I've got fits in one duffle bag. I used your original list as a guide and think I should be good to go. The extra shirts I've got take up almost no extra room in the bag. I rolled up all my clothes and it's amazing how much you can fit in a bag when you do that!

Ain't it though! I drive my wife crazy when I pack bags and come out with one to her 3! I do love duffel bags as they can accommodate more than a hard sided suitcase and as I said before they don't hurt as much when they fly off the top bunk into your head!

OH, for those of you looking for the "list" go to thread #168!

I'll second that. Plus I think everyone should go back through the entire thread as it's well worth it (expect the dozen or so pages arguing about GPS vs Maps) I talked to a guy today who is shipping out in just two days and didn't think about a lot of stuff like shower flipflops, how many clothes to take, etc. Had I not read this thread, I would have forgot to take a pillow! Wouldn't that suck? Plus I think the trainer should be impressed with the fact I am not showing up with the kitchen sink full of dishes. I'm out!
