So far this week I've seen Scneider Trucks that not orange, both were pulling vans. Seen a maroon colored truck and a white one.

there are a few company trucks running around out there that arent orange. They are usually white. If the just say Schneider National on them, they are lease or O/O. If the have the road graphic on them, they are company trucks.

I think the white ones are team trucks.

I am not 100% certain of this, but I believe that Schneider leases some of it's trucks for their own financial purposes rather than tying up the cost of ownership. Primarily, this includes the the day cabs. since they eventually go back to the lease holder at the end of the lease, and the numbers of leased trucks can be easily adjusted up or down as needed in a specific area, they usually get white, basic colored trucks. Easy to remove the decals at the end of the lease, and return them. The plain white color makes them easier to sell when the time comes.

You can tell a team truck by the white sticker above the side door. Says "Team Operation. Team member in bunk" or something to that effect. Plus they are allowed to go 70 mph. :happy3:

Rumor has it they are not going to continue using the road graphic. On the truck at least.

I work for Schneider & drive a white 2006 freightliner its a dedicated account for a company called Spartech which is basicly plastics. The company wanted white trucks and got it I guess. The storage compartment doors & trailers are the only way you'd recognize its schneider. Although Spartech does have alot of there own trailers

I haul plastics for Spartech on occasion, usually loading it from rail cars with a vacuum trailer, and then delivering it to Spartechs's customers. we have a lot of Spartech's railcars in our railyards.
