2021 Has been rough. I finally got a ticket

Just got myself a ticket last week for the exact same thing coming out of Columbus. I somehow missed the signs i guess. I hate Ohio

 

That bridge was shut down for a truck fire couple months ago for 3or 4 months they said they were going to be watching for hazmat going through there.

 

Ahhh man, once you passed 270 it's over with then. They only put the hazmat sign on the 270 sign

 

Sounds like they set up a good trap...

 

How much money is the ticket for?

 

I can tell you the only lawyer to call down in that neck of the woods. He is not cheap, and in your situation you may still have a bad outcome.

Nearly all big cities have a hwy route that goes around downtown.

Here's a few for example
Atlanta i285
Charlotte i485
Baltimore i695
Cincinnati i275
Indianapolis i465

If the route takes you through downtown of big city always remember to look for a hwy route around it.

 

I did dedicated hazmat in Iowa for a year and felt like a fugitive on the run. 2 roadsides and a 50% chance of getting inspected if a scale house was open.

 

Higher a lawyer. A local one to the area you got a ticket. Theyll get it downgraded. No need to stress

 

This one is more serious than that. He screwed up pretty good on this one. Smart move is find another carrier to lease up with now.

edit: of course he still needs a lawyer to minimize the damage from this.
