We're sitting at beacon waiting for washout in pontoon beach. Gotta drop an hook at hershey then go to yard. Finish truck swap an be in Lubbock Tx at 21:00 tomorrow night. We ended up with like 3800 miles this past week. Which for the breakdown time sn switching trucks i thought that was alright.

Man that Pontoon Beach Beacon is a pain unless it's late. All that truck traffic and they only have one bay. That's so ignorant lol, I sat in that line 3 hrs once, then I started going to Pilot in East STL. It's always in and out there. I bet you could have drove there, got the wash out, and came back and the same trucks would have been in that line lol

I'm on my way to Edwardsville now with a Unilever load. Man.....I was there in Newville, PA for about 6 hrs trying to get loaded. 3 of which was spent at the guard shack. They had people checking in trucks that had no idea what to do because they just started there. It had to be at least 20 trucks in those 3 lanes, all the way out to the street. I stopped in Spiceland, IN for a shower break, then I will finish this load off. I gotta do a local run Monday morning to Warrenton, Save A Lot I think.

I called east st louis pilot shop and something about their equipment was froze up. Speaking of pontoon beach , have ya noticed how they've converted a lot of the bobtail parking in front to paid parking?

I've not been to newville pa b 4. We got trucks switched at yard. She left yard with 4.5 hrs left on her 14. I slept from yard to joplin. Tried to sleep again but was to sore an achy to rest good. Came in to get a shower only to discover the water was not getting warm enough. So i gave up on it. Just grabbed dennys. Gonna go eat an start my day. Try an let her get some rest then maybe stop later for a shower.

Yes!!!!!!!! I started to park over there too! As soon as I looked over there I was like, "What the FFFF?" LOL That's way too ridiculous. It ain't like Pontoon Beach needs help making money, busy as this stop is.

Man if you ever have to go to Newville, I hope they have it together for you. The loading itself actually didn't take that long. It's just when you have too much inexperience at the guard shack, it gets ridiculous. You're probably deep into Oklahoma now I'd imagine. When you got to Lubbock, do you take the route they give you or do you go across to Amarillo and drop down?

I'm in Wichita Falls Tx. Stopped for fuel an shower since joplin showers were cold. Gotta deliver st 8 tonight. I've always used dispatch routing for the most part.

Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this.
