Once again, wrong! I went from the first carrier as a co driver to work for an o/o who was leased on to them, same co. Next!
Good thing you're not a lawyer, all of your clients would be in jail now.. lol

PS, I think your sig says a lot about you..

Read slowly and try to stay up. I get my info from what YOU write. You wrote " My past TWO carriers." Now buy any one else's math, that make 3 jobs driving in 18 mos ( I am sure I'm giving you a month or two). You drove for a company, quit and went to work for a O/O, quit or were fired and went to work for Marten where you were fired. If you can't stay with one job for longer then 6 mos. then YOU should re-consider your career options. Because truck driving doesn't seem to be it.

And you are right, My tag says it all. Thats why I"VE been driving for 18 years, 49 states, 2.5 million miles and only 6 companies. Because I stay put. I only changed jobs when I moved and it was best for all concerned.

Kabar, It does seem that you have a solid career in trucking with a lot of accomplishments. I entered this industry less than a year ago and have received many positive comments from trainers, drivers, dm's and an o/o. I make one mistake (with a Marten trailer that was pretty tore up already) and now I'm not worthy.

You base your assessment of someone from what you selectively read on a forum. Seems like you should get out of the cab a little more often and try connecting with people, not measuring them with your yardstick of judgement.

I see a lot of smug arrogance in your posts, and we all know pride comes before a fall.

Kabar is one of those driver's that we want to buy for what he is worth and sell him for what he thinks he is worth! Kabar, did you know that one of the characteristics of a narcissist is that they are unable to recognize narcissism in themselves? Others sure recognize it (just read his posts, he'll tell you how great he is in every one), but the narcissist himself cannot recognize it in himself. Those who are not narcissists would, I think, agree that there was only one perfect person to ever walk this earth. The only perfect person ever was a carpenter, not a trucker, and he hasn't been around for about 2009 years. It isn't you! So, no, you are not the perfect stud you think you are!! So go ahead use your superior red ink to try to convince everybody I am wrong and you are, in fact, perfect. Go ahead, make my day.

Guess Kabar here is the holy grail of all truckers. He is obviously trying to put that other poster down to make himself feel better.

So what if he has job hopped around. Maybe in his case it was needed. Before I entered trucking I had to do the same because every job I had kept laying me off. Was with a company almost 3 yrs and they laid me off. Got another job and they laid me off 1 month later.

    Not a good feeling.

Ultimately Marten is going to let ANYONE go these days who makes ANY kind of mistake. Cuz there's 1000 guys who want the job you just got dismissed from. They can #### all over you with impunity right now. I just hope everyone remembers this when the economy comes around and they start begging for drivers again. I have a very long memory, especially when it comes to getting crapped on. I do not forgive, or forget.
