And no Knucklehead.
There are just too many places to park it, to be playing that crap. That, and they don't have any good California Wisconsin cheese. Phht.

Any parking nearby? I’ve got a mid day del.

Seems like I spent the night there about 4 months and it was under construction. Suprised they haven't gotten further along. Stay safe my friend.

I’ve been there once, I went early for my appointment, they took me a couple hours early. You can stay in Pa. on the turnpike or back track to Bordentown, NJ

Thanks RM. I figured you might have been there. Seems Bordentown will be the necessary evil!runningman0661 Thanks this.

**FLATBED UPDATE**
Did all of my pre-hire stuff online a few weeks back (about 4-6hrs worth)
Arrived in Fremont around 3pm Monday, visited for a moment in the office and took the company car to the hotel for the night.
Today, Tuesday, arrived at 6:30am for orientation. Jason said to be here 6:45a, class started at 7a.
Went over to shop and met with a few guys and circled back to the training room. Met a few more people that really made me feel appreciated and welcome. Returned to shop to see my truck ‘21 Freightliner w/ 57 miles on it.
Back to training room, then over to the PT test. Knocked that out in a few minutes. Headed back to terminal and did road test with Brian.
Met with my DM, and we talked about home time and lanes preferred vs lanes I don’t like. He asked about my return trip home this week. And started looking for loads that headed southeast. Had one load come in mind, but Valmont didn’t have all the pieces for it to leave yet. During our intial chat, he asked about how I felt pulling a van with a flatbed truck. I had no objection.
So, in short or long, got my first FCC load this afternoon. @runningman0661 i hope I don’t start taking your go-home loads. Columbus NE to Four Oaks NC.Finfn1372, MidWest_MacDaddy, runningman0661 and 3 others Thank this. -
Sounds good. I’m not a FCC’er but I’m a thread lurker. Please keep us updated on your experiences if you can. Nothing against the guys in here at all btw. They do a bang up job blogging their adventures, and it’s always interesting. I am just curious as to how the flat side is ran and if it operates as smoothly as the van. Congrats on the new job! Hopefully many years and safe miles ahead!MidWest_MacDaddy, Modlite11 and Crusader66 Thank this.
