Yeah...never go to a terminal unless you hafta split something there or if your Fleet Manger tells you to go to one...especially Lithia Springs heh...i had to do my quarterly safety computer meeting thing at Omaha...#### right i parked across the hwy from Sapp Brothers and walked over...took the shuttle back...only terminal i go to is Indy...a)because i live there and b)no safety lane....

plus once you go to a terminal, you hafta surrender your MT trl

I would have stopped at the first DOT scale and would have had that truck inspected. -Maybe Werner will then start fixing this ####.

In all fairness as a company driver your "gently used" truck will always have a few things wrong with it -but you had quite a bit in your Shaker Classic (da FrankenWeiner). Blowing out a steer is always bad also.

 

Ok heres the deal with werner. first of all, the atlanta terminal has some of the worst trucks excpet for the brand new t660's they have sittin around but wont assign em to new students. when i got my truck, it would barely start. so i sat for 3 days not knowing that i could get layover pay. and yes they do treat you badly and the mechanics are lazy at that particular terminal. they gave me one used battery and one new one. within a week it was barely starting again

 

dispatchers could care less about you. the thing about those quallcomm directions is that they are just the suggested directions and fuel stops. you are supposed to route yourself and you never go to a termianl unless its absoloutley necessary. esp atlanta or indiana, those places are holes. Now, tell your friend to do a macro 40 for layover pay for each night he has been sitting there. i sat in atlanta for 3 days after i got my junker

 

Yeah really, dispoachers dont care, ONLY the people at this website does. Volvos gotta new bigtruck out....the 880 I think its called(Im tired), with 600pony power.
