Look on your home state job net. Now, this isn't the government jobs but like here in WI it is WI job net. I have noticed plenty of those type jobs in there. All fed Ex jobs in WI are posted in that forum.
If you don't already have one, most of those sites also have a free resume builder as well.
    Best O luck to ya!

I too am interested in learning more about how to get hired on to an expediter company. Most I have looked in to require teams.

So far I have contacted Landstar Express, Expedite Solutions, Panther Expedited, Expedited Trucking, Expediter Services, and FedEx Custom Critical. Any others that you might be able to suggest would be so greatly appreciated. Thanx for your responses.

Start in a cargo van but don't expect to make much money . It'll get you known with the carrier though . Look back through old posts . IRunU (now banned or missing ) started in a Panther cargo van then moved to a straight truck . She would have done a lot better in the van but she refused to go to Canada . To run Canada you need a passport and no criminal convictions . A passport is a big plus when hiring with an expedite company because they run a lot of Canada .
The next couple of months will be real slow making hiring even more difficult .

DUI's are felonies in Canada so if anyone has any dont bother. They wont let you in.:biggrin_2552:

I would have no issues starting in a cargo van, and the passport should be no problem. I've never had any type of criminal convictions, DUI's, etc. I kind of figure things will be slow until January or February. I expect to start at the bottom and work my way up, I just need to get to the bottom with somebody...he he he.

FedEx has several divisions - FedEx Express , FedEx Ground , FedEx Freight , FedEx Home Delivery , And FedEx Custom Critical which is the expedite division . FECC does not hire drivers . They don't own any trucks . Drivers are hired by fleet owners that own small fleets . I doubt expedite fleet owners advertise on state job nets .

You also have to watch with Canada-my husband knows a fellow who was behind on his child support and he's not allowed to cross the border. His co-driver had to drop him off at the border, go deliver the load and then pick him up on the way back. Now that he's caught up on his payments, he's allowed back in. Another guy had a DUI from 10 years ago, and he couldn't get his passport card for clearance into Canada. They don't mess around up there.
